WHAT/ IS/ A/ LINE? Line Imagery

During the process of designing some posters to advertise my Crystal Castles Merchandise, i came across a website which i found very useful and inspirational for my work.
My intentions are to create imagery or take photographs to screen print onto the t-shirts, i believe this will make the garment look more professional and will deliver my message more clearly rather than go with the dot to dot theme (whereby the audience could hand craft and stitch the t-shirts themselves to develop a line based pattern) unfortunately i don't think this idea would work effectively nor is there much creativity on my behalf of the designs.

Here are a range of images i have collected, the handful i have selected are photographs or images which has made me think about my design process. Crystal Castles merchandise is mainly illustrative of photography work, and as these two methods are my favourite i think i should follow in the footsteps of previous designs to create something very cool/sinister to tie in with the C.C theme.

A lot of these images are fashion-like or conceptual themed; as the band Crystal Castles are know for their bizarre music and trend style and have links with Chanel, Dazed and Confused i think its necessary for me to incorporate a vogue touch to the designs.

Architecture/ fashion/ photography/ random.
